How it plays

A tournament in four moves.

  1. 1 · Draft

    Buy ten players

    2 Platinum, 3 Gold and 5 Silver, under the salary cap. The cap is $200M from Shanghai. Stars cost up to $50M, so every squad is a trade-off.

  2. 2 · Armbands

    Pick a captain

    Your captain scores double and your vice ×1.5. Move the armbands before any round. If your captain is knocked out, the vice steps up automatically.

  3. 3 · Score

    Every win pays

    Wins are worth more the deeper they go. Beat a higher-ranked player and they grow by up to ×2.

  4. 4 · Trade

    Rebuild between rounds

    Sell knocked-out players for part of their price and buy players who are still in. Five transfers per tournament from Shanghai.
